For many parents and children, childminders are an inherent part of their lives. They give children the assistance, education, and care their parents imagined: close to family, flexible, and qualified.
Daycare for children usually means that a male or female childminder takes care of your child, either by the hour or all day, in your own home and often together with other children. Daycare provides children, especially in the first years of their lives, with close-to-family care that can closely focus on their individual needs. Childminders have the opportunity and time to give every child close attention. A daycare facility often takes care of up to five children. Here, they can gather their first group experiences which foster social learning.
There is a possibility to care for the child or several children in the family’s home. In case of daycare outside the family’s home, the child spends part of the day in the living environment of another family, sometimes with the childminder’s own family. This provides a valuable experience, especially for only children or children of single parents.
All our childminders are accredited by the youth welfare office. This accreditation ensures that they have the necessary permit and qualifications they need to provide childcare, that they are certified in first aid for babies and small children, that their house is suitable for childcare, and that they are equipped with the necessary personal prerequisites.
